About the Artist: Khalifah is a youth offender serving his 25 years of incarceration. He is using his time to paint, act, write songs and poems. Additionally, he is learning coding and game development design. He loves technology and nature. The painting Day Dreamer was inspired first by a magazine cover. After the initial spark, the work evolved into something more: “She became what my soul desires- that while I dream of finding my other half, she is out there dreaming of finding me as well.”
